Mogrellina Geisha

Mogrellina Geisha is produced by The Agret Coffee Cooperative, formed by 39 coffee producer associations from the Amazon region. The cooperative’s mission is to improve coffee quality and create added value, thereby penetrating the specialty coffee markets in the United States and Europe. To achieve this goal, Agret adopts strategies such as organic certification, optimizing coffee cultivation techniques, and fair trade, while expanding market influence through strategic alliances. Additionally, the cooperative provides training and technical assistance to improve post-harvest processing procedures, including sorting, drying, and storage, to further enhance product quality. By 2020, the cooperative had 320 members, managing coffee plantations covering a total area of 2,065.25 hectares, of which 1,404.50 hectares were organic cultivation areas. Agret Cooperative insists on treating all members equally, especially the youth, women, and indigenous people, ensuring they receive fair treatment and labor rights. Through cooperation and the effective use of resources, the cooperative is committed to improving the living standards of its members and contributing to the sustainable development of the Amazon region.
