Chire Cherry Kurume

Back in Nov of 2024, we were invited to Bensa, Sidama to customized some special lot for our customers. While our team stay in the washing station to help in processing, our founder decided to travel around to explore some new potential farm or station. After his visit in Karamo area, the tour guide suggest that he could visit Chire as well, but the trip to Chire is challanging due to the road condition. Luckily, our founder made it to Chire and find our a hidden Village Named “Cherry”, the coffee from the village are so less known due to their hidden location. There a few sundried station over there and he found out that it has a superior geographical environment and also the quality of the coffee is extraordinary.Kurume is an indigenous coffee variety (or landrace) from Ethiopia, primarily known for its role in specialty coffee production. It is a sub-variety of Ethiopian Heirloom, a broad term for the thousands of wild and cultivated coffee types found in the country.
