Sidamo Lion King

Sidamo’s coffee flavors are incredibly diverse, with different soil types, microclimates, and countless native coffee varieties resulting in distinct differences and distinct characteristics in the coffee produced in each town. The geology of this area is rich in nutrients and well-drained volcanic soil, with a depth of nearly two meters and a deep brown or brown topsoil. The greatest advantage of this area lies in the fact that the soil fertility is achieved through the circulation of natural organic matter, using the withered leaves of nearby forests, litter, and plant roots as natural fertilizers. This batch was produced by the Hilsa Cooperative near Dila town. The cooperative was established in 1976 and is currently a member of the Sidama Coffee Farmer Cooperative Union (SCFCU). We have successfully screened the coffee, selecting this batch for its outstanding flavor profile.
